The Story Behind Astral Alchemy

 

My journey into the world of event catering didn't start behind a bar, but with a dream of bringing people together through simple, whimsical joys.

Astral Alchemy began with the humble spin of candy floss—sweet, light, and full of childhood magic. Two years ago, I introduced the Astral Floss Cotton Candy Vending Machines to leisure venues across Kent and Sussex, they turned ordinary moments into bursts of delight.

The joy they brought was unmistakable—and I knew I wanted to take that magic on the road.

 

So what began with the idea of simply making a vending machine mobile quickly grew into something more. I decided to add my decade of mixology experience & five years of teaching cocktail masterclasses to the mix, then with a little inspiration from a barista friend, we added coffee to our lineup, creating the Shaken, Steamed and Spun Trailer—my take on the perfect trio.

 

With the expertise of Jay at Outcraft co we lovingly transformed an vintage horsebox from an old shell into something extraordinary—a bar that’s more than a bar. It’s a testament to quality craftsmanship, eco‑friendly re-purposing, and a commitment to creating unforgettable atmospheres.

For me, Astral Alchemy is more than a business. It’s a labour of love, a creative journey, and a way to transform ordinary events into unforgettable experiences.
